D-2: My Gear

It’s D-2 today and it’s so hard to believe that I am going to leave Hong Kong tomorrow.  These two days I stayed at home to pack up my stuff.  Surprisingly, my 60L backpack isn’t that full, and not as heavy as I think so.

It’s often a question to some people what to bring and what not to bring for such a long journey.  Working backwards with my weight limits, I take the most essential things (the things that will save my life and keep me alive) as minimum as I need, as I am not that muscular and trained to carry over 20kg, nor I can carry more bags more luggage alone on the road.

You will see what kind of things in my gear, and my home that I will live with it for the next 8 months:
